Danny Orleans understands educating audiences. After receiving his education degree from Northwestern University and teaching mathematics and science in Chicago area private schools, he developed customized educational magic shows for corporate audiences.
In 2001, he consulted for and wrote 13 books for Scholastic as part of their "Magic University" series. The success of the series required more creativity from Mr. Orleans as the publisher asked him to create the content for seven password protected magical websites. He currently writes a column for a magician's periodical, Genii Magazine, which gives advice on how to perform magic for different audience types. When he's not traveling around the country performing magic, he lives with his wife Janice and their daughter Leah in Chicago.
